Patricia | A Maternity Photoshoot

I recently had the pleasure of working with Patricia at my Hollywood Studio for a Maternity photoshoot. Maternity studio sessions are becoming a favorite for us here at Genny Lynn Photography and for our clients. There’s something about a woman being pregnant, wanting to capture this special moment and having the courage to show it off to the world.   

Being pregnant can make each woman feel differently about themselves and sometimes hesitant about getting in front of the camera. We’ll help you feel confident, relaxed and show you just how beautiful you are. 

Patricia is a friend of one of our makeup artist’s, Natalina’s Beauty. I was excited to work with her and she was open to some styled portraits that we now offer all maternity clients.

If you’re contemplating a maternity photoshoot, it’s important to know that it’s best to schedule early in your pregnancy as these photo sessions are best done by 35 weeks. You’ll have a nice, visible bump and still feel comfortable in the poses we want to create for you. The further along you are means it can be really uncomfortable and stressful.

Our gowns, wraps and fabrics are available to all our clients. This session we used gold leaf flakes and will be incorporating that in the newborn session as well.
