I first met Catherine at an open house on a Sunday afternoon at the beginning of 2019. Catherine is one of Keller Williams’ top realtors in Coral Springs, FL. I was very impressed with the experience she provided at the open house where we met.
A few weeks later, we met for networking opportunities and that’s when I learned she was pregnant, but she had not yet announced the news to anyone. We quickly became friends. I saw how she truly has a heart to help her clients in finding the perfect home and working with them through each step of the buying and selling process.
Several months later, she contacted me about newborn photos and wanted me to help her capture this exciting time for her, one that she has longed for. She wanted to freeze this time as it goes by so quickly.
Catherine wanted timeless neutrals, as a lot of my clients do. Neutrals go with any home’s decor. We love to incorporate sentimental items in each session, or something meaningful to every family. This little outfit and blanket was handmade and was perfect.
Those tiny little details, the things we don’t want to forget, but we do. Without a photo to freeze these perfect little toes, hands and nose, we would forget how perfect they are.
Some babies are born with a nevus simplex, a birthmark that shows up on a third of all newborns. Stork bite is a common term and is also referred to as a “salmon patch” because of its pink and flat appearance. It can show up on baby’s forehead, eyelids, nose, upper lip or back of the neck and usually disappears in about 18 months. Catherine wanted to keep it in some of her images. It’s a reminder of part of their beginning, their newness.
Baby in parents’ hands is one pose that is requested by every family. It truly shows their baby’s size; how small and curly they are.
Babies born during the holidays are the best Christmas gift. These newborn Christmas photos were made using digital backdrops that we love to offer our clients. They’re artistic, unique and personalized to the clients wishes.
Our clients love to display their images in their homes. Professional photography should not be hid on a device or computer, but displayed in the home to love and enjoy for years to come. Catherine chose to hang gallery wrap canvases of her favorites in her son’s nursery, and she was so happy we offer installation as part of our service.
